Design thesis

Forge treats the page as an engineered dark stage for a premium non-ferrous metals brand: a single molten-heat accent disciplined against a near-black aluminum canvas, monumental Archivo Expanded display type tracked tight, IBM Plex Mono for foundry-grade traceability microcopy, and inline-SVG materiality (molten pour, alloy microstructure, extrusion sections) standing in for photography. Drama comes from scale, width and material temperature — never from heavy black weights or pastel gradient soup. One bright contact band provides the deliberate contrast 'flip'. Every motion is reduced-motion-guarded; every text/background pair clears WCAG AA against its actual composited background.

Design thesis

Spec keeps the Swiss-technical "ficha-tecnica" thesis but earns the metals-brand materiality the original blue-on-white template ignored (AS3). It rebuilds on the REAL BauxTP foundry system: a deep forge-black canvas where molten-orange is the single disciplined accent (foundry heat), talavera-blue is a sparing structural secondary for the trading arm, and aluminum-silver supplies hairlines and surfaces. The hero is a dark forge ground with a molten heat-bloom and a live spec-sheet panel (AlSi7Mg composition table + foundry SVG of a molten pour and silver ingots); light sections use a warm clay-tinted paper, not sterile white. Type pairs Space Grotesk (characterful engineered grotesk, on-brand bauxtp display) with Source Sans 3 body and IBM Plex Mono for every proof label — a real ~4x hero-to-body jump. The result reads like Stripe x Linear x a foundry ficha tecnica, not a generic SaaS gradient.

A premium-metals brand earns gravitas through restraint, not noise: a warm oat-paper canvas (never screen-white) read as ink-on-paper, a high-contrast humanist serif (Fraunces) carrying the heritage voice, a neutral grotesque (Libre Franklin) carrying information, and a mono (IBM Plex Mono) carrying foundry-grade data — with exactly ONE molten-bronze accent under ~5% coverage. Materiality is supplied by hand-built inline-SVG art (a molten aluminum pour, isometric ingots, an incandescent furnace mouth, a polished-metal ember vein) rather than template gradients, so the page feels like Aesop/Fraunces editorial crossed with Mexican industrial casting — confident, tactile, and unmistakably non-generic.
